We decided to give back during Children’s Book Week! With the help of parent coordinator, Lindsay Lin, they collected gently used books from their preschool families to support the P.U.L.L. (Pop Up Lending Libraries) Together Campaign in Coatesville, PA.
The P.U.L.L. campaign was conceived by AHHAH (Arts Holding Hands and Hearts, Inc.) to spearhead a grass roots campaign to put 100 lending libraries, called PULL Stations, throughout the 19320 (Coatesville) municipality in locations where children gather both indoors and outdoors. AHHAH coordinated community workshops to build, design, paint and install the PULL Stations throughout Coatesville. The program is designed to create intergenerational efforts to increase literacy in Coatesville.
Brandywine School of Early Learning is proud to have donated over 100 books to this important cause. AHHAH Will be “planting” another PULL Station Friday morning (5/11) at 10:30 at Bridge Academy and the books that Brandywine School of Early Learning will be going in the new PULL Station. A community working together.
